Transforming Communities: the Digital anthology is out!

For the third time running, Waterloo Festival, in collaboration with Bridge House Publishing (BHP), organised a writing competition over the winter along the theme of Transforming Communities. Writers were invited to interpret freely the theme in a 1000-word story.

Our winners were announced in early May. Gill James wrote to us:

We’ve selected those which best suited the themes – all of which of course can be interpreted in a variety of ways – and which told the best stories.

Last Friday, the digital anthology, comprised of all the winning entries, was published during an online event with the publishers, the Festival team and, importantly, the writers themselves. You can access the anthology here. You can alo access the past anthologies here:

The paperback version, featuring the three anthologies, is set to be launched on 5th December 2020.
