You can't have missed the skaters whizzing down the Embankment on their way to the Southbank Skate Space. Luckily today the space is protected but a few years ago they had to launch a campaign to keep it from being redeveloped.
When a group of researchers from University of Sussex caught wind of their efforts they decided to film them and create two documentaries to tell their story. The first, You Can't Move History. You Can Secure the Future, follows the Long Live South Bank (LLSB) campaign to save their "home away from home". The second, You Can Make History traces the relationship formed with the Southbank community and the efforts made to restore the Undercroft space.
