Through this series, we explore creative reactions to the recent events in the US and the UK and the #BlackLivesMatter movement. First up, Shirina Carstens.
My name is Shirina Carstens I am a mentor and speaker. I'm passionate about wellbeing and making sure we are operating in the best versions of ourselves. This poem was inspired by meeting a lot of black men with low self esteem. I wanted to encourage the greatness that they truly are and remind them as Kings they can rise up.
